I am a British-trained midwife beginning my 14th year in the US and my 23rd year in the midwifery field. I practice in Orange County(Orlando area)providing home birth and birthing center options along with prenatal and postpartal care for families who choose hospital delivery. I am active in my local community as an advocate for sound and appropriate maternity health care. I believe that birth is NOT an illness and every woman should have the right to the type, setting and provider for the birth of her choice. I am the Vice Chair of the state of Florida Council of Licensed Midwifery, Board Member and Outreach Coordinator for Orange County Healthy Start Coalition and former Director of The School of Complementary Medicine Miidwifery Program, Oviedo, Florida.
