Seven Hills Community midwifery is a family-centered homebirth practice offering a full range of midwifery care to women in Central Massachusettes. Grounded in my belief and experience of birth as a normal healthy process I encourage women and their families to take an active part in educating themselves and making informed choices. I support women in trusting their bodys unique internal wisdom and ability to give birth safely and dependably. I practice with an emphasis on the community context, acknowledging the influences of family, friends, work lives and spiritual values. In the spirit of community, I value the relationship that develops between the midwife and the whole family of the pregnant woman. I take time prenatally to develop the trust, knowledge of a womans individual progress in the pregnancy, labor & birth and her unique needs. If a situation arises during pregnancy, labor or birth that steps outside the bounderies of the midwifes definition of "normal" I do not hesitate to refer to the appropriate practitioner.
