I embrace the idea that pregnancy and childbirth is a natural, wondrous, and sacred process, and that the more we respect and trust in that process, the more successful and rewarding it can be. My role as a midwife is to safely and gently guide a woman and her family through their birth in a way which instills trust and confidence and which honrs the amazing journey and transformation that childbirth should be. I strive to foster a close relationship with each family while providing the necessary information, care, and counseling so that they can be active participants in the birth process and can create a birth experience which is as special and unique as they are.
