Opened Jan. 2002. Mothers Own Birth Center is the only nurse-midwifery owned and operated freestanding birth center in southeast Michighan. We are members of NACC and pursuing NACC accreditation. Have also begun the process of certification as Mother Friendly and Baby Friendly. Linda is also a IBCLE certified lactation consultant.
