I am a Certified Professional Midwife and certified birth doula attending homebirths in the central Kentucky area. As a midwife, I come to your home for regular prenatal care visits. We will discuss extensively nutrition during pregnancy and preparation for the birth at home. I specialize in waterbirth. It is important to me to build strong and healthy relationships with my clients. I am also available to refer you to local mothering resources, such as La Leche League. I will help to guide you in birthing your baby safely in the manner in which you have planned. I will monitor your well-being during labor, the birth, and the immediate postpartum. I care for you and your new baby for at least 6 weeks following the birth. I also come to your home for those 3-4 postpartum care visits. The birth experience is sacred and I am honored and blessed to be a part of this most special time in any womans life.
