Birthing Options (Renata Hillman) offers traditional midwifery care to Mothers and their families. I have been serving MS/AL/FL Gulf Coast families since 1981, as a childbirth educator, childbirth assistant, and midwife in hospitals, birth centers, and personal homes.. The birth team usually consist of myself as primary midwife and an assisting midwife or an apprentice. I provide prenatal counseling and education homebirth attendance, and postpartum & breastfeeding care and counseling. I believe God has created us to birth. And I have seen the outcome of a healthy, well-educated Mother is a healthy and safe pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and baby. My training and experience include: 1 year at 2 different birth centers one in El Paso, TX and one in Pensacola, FL Certified as a childbirth educator by the American Academy of Husband Coached Childbirth in 1981 Certified as a Labor Assistant by ALACE Certified as a doula, monitrice and workshop instructor by Titus 2 Birthing Certified as a doula, monitrice, and childbirth educator by BOCES Founder and director of Birthing Options Childbirth Education and Servies, LLC (A Christian training and certifying organization for childbirth educators and childbirth educators) Associate Degree in Nursing Attendance at over 500 homebirths and more within hospitals and birth centers Mother of three: one hospital, one birth room, and one homebirth.
