I first became interested in midwifery in 1971. I gave birth to my 2 daughters at home in 1981 and 1986. I have been joyfully attending births since 1986. I was a student at Maternidad La Luz 1989-1990 and served as a staff midwife there for 2 1/2 years in 1995-1997, and continue to have an association with the clinic as occasional guest midwife. I feel honored to be able to attend women in birth and enjoy facilitating peaceful, joyful beginnings for the sweet new souls that are being born in these times.
