I am a homebirth midwife, mother of 8, Nana of 4 (soon to be 5!) in practice for 17 years. I have been married for 34 years, and I own the bumpersticker "It takes a real man to be married to a midwife"! I taught Bradley Childbirth classes for 11 years. I love birth, especially water births. I also believe in VBACs! I dream of the day when our children will have access to midwifery care in all settings as the "standard of care", and homebirth is the norm.
